Hive Share

Want to have a supply of local honey but don’t have the time to keep a hive? Interested in supporting local beekeepers? Then maybe a hive share is right for you. A hive share is a 25% ownership in a local, Alaska beehive. At the end of the season, usually in mid to late August, you’ll receive anywhere from 4-12 pounds of raw, Alaska honey in labeled jars (honey weighs 12 pounds per gallon, so that’s up to a gallon of honey). The amount of honey you get depends on the weather and how successful the bees are. If you prefer cut comb honey we can do that, too. Since our hives are all Top Bar hives, we can harvest the entire honey comb.
